Holistic psychology?

Holistic psychology refers to psychological therapy that

Integrate the mind and spirit with the body.

Defend that the body is affected by our thoughts and emotions

and, by thisreason, we have to learn to know and understand them.

In order to eradicate or minimize a problem, it is necessary
access the unconscious and integrate it with full consciousness.

To find solutions our entire system has to
Transform and work for the same purpose.

What is a holistic therapy?
Many users of holistic psychology perform this therapy
com means of self-knowledge and healing of the interior.
This therapy is indicated for all types of people and cases, and is worked individually, as a couple or in a group, according to the needs of each individual. This psychotherapy contemplates the totality of the human being and, therefore, does not neglect any aspect.

Since in many psychological disorders and traumas of people there are usually several components of the unconscious, holistic therapy helps us connect with those areas that we do not usually attend to regularly.
In addition, we must bear in mind that the body is also affected by our emotions.
For this reason, holistic psychology contemplates both dimensions as a whole.

Benefits of holistic therapy
You work the conscious and also the unconscious dimension.
A psychological and emotional work is carried out at the same time. The personality and character of each individual is involved, since each person's mind is different and not all common guidelines work for the same patients, even if their problem is similar.

Contemplate the cerebral and neurological dimension to understand the functioning of the mind of the human being.
It does not promote the dependence of the person to go to therapy, but it promotes their autonomy and decision-making capacity.

The conscious and the unconscious
Each person has their way of being, thinking and acting.
When we ask ourselves why we are like this, we must also ask ourselves what has led us to be that way. Childhood is usually one of the stages where the greatest amount of trauma and negative experiences are generated that will have repercussions in the future.
Treating them from the root, remembering the origin of the damage, is the only way to overcome these events and keep moving forward.
If our personality had not been altered and damaged at some point in our lives, we would not ask ourselves "why am I like that".
Most people who go to therapy do so because their thoughts or behavior is causing them problems.
Contemplating only our conscious form will not help us to understand the reason for our attitude and, therefore, we will remain unhappy.
Holistic psychology seeks to transform the self: bodily, mental and emotional.
The psyche integrates the personality unconscious so that "problems" emerge and can be identified and treated.
It also aims to rescue the original identity of the individual, and help it develop from its base and not from distortion, as it should have happened from the beginning.
